Kristi's Caring Hands: Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education
Every animal has a story—and at Kristi’s Caring Hands, we believe each one deserves a chance to write the next chapter. Based in Northern Virginia, Kristi is a dedicated wildlife rehabilitator who has spent years caring for the injured, orphaned, and forgotten animals that share our world. From tiny bats to orphan foxes, she offers healing, hope, and a second chance at life in the wild.
Saving Wildlife, Sharing Hope.
Together, we can help save Virginia's Wildlife.
Wildlife rehabilitation is the process of rescuing injured, orphaned, or distressed wild animals, providing them with expert care to heal, and releasing them back into their natural habitats when they are healthy and capable of surviving on their own. Each animal’s journey begins with rescue—often by a concerned citizen or first responder—and continues with dedicated treatment, proper nutrition, and safe housing tailored to its species and needs. Rehabilitators like Kristi work tirelessly to reduce stress, rebuild strength, and teach natural behaviors necessary for survival in the wild. Beyond healing, wildlife rehab plays a vital role in public education—helping communities understand how to coexist peacefully with native wildlife and prevent future harm.
